My doctor wrote a prescription on which she wrote the brand name but indicated that the generic version of this drug should be filled. The name of the generic drug was also listed.

Aetna sent the name brand which was $70 as opposed to $20. When contacted, they refused to accept return of the name brand.

I asked why they didn't contact me by phone before filling the more expensive brand, but they had no reply.

Customer service is a joke with Aetna (with rare exceptions). It is the coldest, most disorganized company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
