I cannot renew a prescription online or on the phone. What else is there to say? My employer switched to Aetna and it has never worked properly. I was unable to fulfill a family member's prescription at the pharmacy because the birth date on her record was incorrect. A generic drug covered in the formulary of my previous plan is not covered by Aetna because it is OTC--a nice example of shifting costs and reducing coverage even as your employer tells you that the change is purely cosmetic. If you can avoid this outfit, I would do so.
