Just over a year ago I underwent major restorative dental work. I had the Aetna DMO which has no yearly limit, which I was please with because the amount of work I needed was truly scary.

I received referrals from my primary care provider which I needed for the specialist work to be covered.

However, my wife had to have a major surgery herself for which she was placed on short term disability by her OB/GYN. Aetna denied the short term disability and then *Back dated* her termination date by almost a month, to the point where she was put on her Short Term Disability.

As a result they were then able to deny the dental claims for me (Mind you, they had already paid these because they were pre-approved before I underwent the procedures".

Now I have a collection on my credit from all this for $32,000.00.

Aetna is the best insurance company there is when it comes to fraud, because they seem to be immune to the Federal Laws regarding it.
